West Lebanon, NH

Our West Lebanon Seafood Restaurant Right on the Connecticut River

Our West Lebanon restaurant sits in a beautiful town near the edge of New Hampshire wilderness. West Lebanon boasts a rich history, beautiful views and natural adventures for families and visitors of all ages.

West Lebanon, an unincorporated community of Lebanon, New Hampshire, is the original settlement site of its parent town. Located along the Connecticut River in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire, West Lebanon is one of those urban edge towns—set on the border of untouched nature—an exceptional example of New England beauty.

Settled in 1761, West Lebanon was a regional asset—a rail hub better known at the time as Westboro. When the nearby village of White River Junction, VT took over the rail passage for the area, West Lebanon transportation was replaced with commerce. Today, West Lebanon is a center of industry for nearly 200,000 people. Minutes away from Hanover, NH, a home and bedroom community to Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, West Lebanon is an asset to it’s region.

Visitors and tourists can enjoy hiking, swimming, boating on the Connecticut River, hunting, fishing, skiing, riding all manner of ATVs and just about anything else a person can do outside. Quechee Gorge is less than 20 miles up the road and is another site that is well worth the visit.

Because of its rich riverside soil, farms have grown and stayed in the area and that means farm fresh, local food is abundant. In addition to the fresh produce in the area, there is also plenty of fresh seafood available thanks to Weathervane Seafood Restaurant proudly calling West Lebanon home. Where there’s a Weathervane, there’s always fresh seafood. Even on the westernmost part of New Hampshire, our West Lebanon seafood restaurant serves the traditional taste of New England seafood.

Next time you’re in western New Hampshire, come to West Lebanon and have a fresh Maine lobster at the Weathervane!
