“Great Value. If you are looking for Maine lobster, this is the place to go. Why pay through the nose to have lobsters at the tourist traps on the water? Go grab a drink there later…. Weathervane Seafood has twin lobsters for “Wicked Cheap” on Thursdays in addition to haddock fish and chips. Both dishes are prepared great and our waitress informed us that she works at one of the expensive, $52.00 lobster places in Portland on the weekends. She also said they are the same lobsters. Worth the drive to South Portland for an affordable lobster dinner in a pleasant atmosphere.”

“While visiting Portland area during vacation I went our for a late lunch as I always try to have haddock when in Maine. My first choice was XXXXXXX as I had eaten there many times before they moved to the mall area. After reading their reviews I quickly decided to try the Weathervane. I was very pleased with the service that Heather provided (very friendly and helped with menu for first time guests ) and my portion of haddock was more than I could eat. Should have ordered the half portion haddock fish & chips. Onion rings were recommended and glad I tried them as I like to have onion and not all batter. Very afordable and good location and easy to find. Would absolutely eat there again when visiting.”
